SeekMake release notes version 2.17.2, brings improvements that will help manufacturers streamline their workflow, improve communication with customers, and offer a more personalized experience. Key Features:

We’ve added several key features to make your experience with SeekMake even better:

Store Feature

SeekMake Store is here to fuel manufacturers’ growth, and help clients shop high quality 3D printing, laser cutting, and CNC machining made products.
Benefit: This feature will provide manufacturers with the opportunity to list a variety of their products for sale, including decorations, gifts, gadgets, and everything in between, all made through 3D printing, laser cutting, and CNC machining

New Inbox features

Messaging clients and other manufacturers is now easier than ever
Benefit: This will help users and manufacturers to communicate through direct messages or demand messages to discuss details of their business while enjoying a good user experience of messaging.

CAD Tools Feature

We have added new Computer-aided design tools to digitally create 2D drawings and 3D models on SeekMake 
Benefit: With this new feature, you can share, review, simulate, and modify designs easily, opening doors to innovative and differentiated products.

 

Supporting new feature ‘Duplicate’ for machines

We have introduced a new feature for manufacturers ‘Duplicate’ for machines, where manufacturers will be able to duplicate machines in their machines list.
Benefit: This new feature improves the user experience for manufacturers, allowing them to enter many machines with similar information in an easier way.

For Clients and Manufacturers:

We have introduced features to benefit both clients and manufacturers:

  • New shipping methods 
    Manufacturers can now add shipping details to their home country, Europe, and other continents and countries from their choice.
  • New Technology Filter in Quote Editor
    Users are now able to filter materials by technology in Quote Editor when choosing material for their model.
  • Supporting new 3D technologies
    Manufacturers can now add other 3D technologies; DED, DMLS, Polyjet, CLIP, DLS.
  • Developers Portal
    SeekMake’s cutting-edge E-commerce checkout plugin can be implemented on any website in less than 5 minutes. Our well-structured API documentation offers clear and concise guidance on how to integrate and use each of our APIs. 

Design Improvements and Fixes:

We’ve made various design improvements and fixes for a better user experience:

  • New Store Front design.
  • Updated the design for our network of manufacturers.
  • Manufacturers can now request a cash out without requirements of a minimum amount.
  • Added new “Ordering plugin” page.
  • New Homepage design.
  • Added new currencies support.
  • Updated new Home Page and website header design.
  • Improved the upload of several high-quality pictures in the manufacturer’s gallery.
  • Added new finishes for 3D Printing.
  • Updated manufacturer’s information by adding directions to their exact location.
  • Added new options for manufacturers in the sign-up process to use their current location.

Other Bug Fixes:

We’ve also resolved some additional issues:

  • Improved magic links expiration to 1 hour for all cases.
  • Improved the security of using magic links to be used only for one time.
  • Fixed the ‘contact us’ form.
  • Design fixes in mobile version.
  • Fixed the search bar in dashboards
  • Improved map network responsiveness.
  • Fixed the display of the discount bar in manufacturers’ front store
  • Improved translation in the website.
